Kemp Productions organises special Jam nights with a particular goal in mind - that these events serve as a bridge between local amatures and professionals. It's geared to bring the local musicians out of the wood-work who normally don't have the chance to play to build their confidence on stage. The only criteria for the Jams is to guard a sensitive ear for the music and one man showboating is not allowed.

The evening usually starts off at 9pm. The first hour is usually taken up by the KP music band and after that, it is just a matter of audience members speaking to one of the musicians and getting up on stage to play for a song or two. Most equipment is already there.

Bring your instrument (electric or acoustic guitar, bass guitar, harmonica, drumsticks, voice, saxophone, djembe, didgeridoo, etc.) to KP jam nights and play along with other local musicians or just come listen to the live music.  Amps, drum set and PA provided by Kemp Productions.

The styles played vary from blues to rock to alternative to folk to acoustic. So, whatever style of music you play, come along to our Jam for a good night out with like minded people!
